Ceramic Kaftan - Yellow 2

The Kaftan is inspired by Ottoman caftans from the 17th and 18th centuries, traditionally crafted from heavy and valuable fabrics. These garments were known for their intricate designs and embellishments, symbolizing privilege and status in the Ottoman Empire.

Each ceramic kaftan is carefully hand-drawn and painted, then fired at temperatures between 900-1200°C using the underglaze technique. Gold and silver gilding have been applied with overglaze methods for added detail.
