Shipping policy

Domestic Shipping (Continental US)

• Shipping rates. Standard shipping is a flat $8 on orders under $150.
• Free shipping. Orders of $150 or more ship free within the continental US.
• Carriers. We ship with USPS or UPS. Available options are shown at checkout.
• Processing time. Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday are processed the next business day.
• Delivery time. Standard shipping typically takes 3 to 5 business days after processing.

Rugs and Kilims

Because of their size and weight, rugs and kilims ship on their own rate. The exact cost is calculated by the carrier at checkout and shown to you before you pay. The $8 flat rate and the $150 free shipping threshold do not apply to these pieces.

Local pickup is free at our store:

Choose local pickup at checkout and we will email you when your order is ready, usually within one business day. Please bring your order confirmation with you. We hold pickup orders for [[ HOW MANY DAYS? ]] days, after which the order is returned to stock and refunded.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

If Your Order Is Lost or Arrives Damaged

Email us at info@houseofmotifs.com with your order number, and photos if the item arrived damaged. We will make it right with a replacement or a full refund, and we will handle the carrier claim ourselves. You do not need to contact the carrier.

Please tell us within 14 days of the delivery date so we can file the claim in time.

Returns and Exchanges

See our Return and Exchange Policy for full details. In short: 30 days from delivery, item unused and in original condition, return postage paid by you. Original shipping charges are not refunded on change of mind returns.
