This cranberry pine candle is the one you light when the tree goes up. Hand-poured from 100% soy wax in the USA, it's topped with cranberry seeds, evergreen yew leaves and crushed red rose petals, and it smells like a warm mix of tart cranberry and earthy pine — festive without being sweet.

What's in it

The rose petals and yew are grown in the maker's own garden and the cranberry seeds are USA-grown; the fragrance oils are non-toxic and phthalate-free. Tart cranberry sits on top, deep green pine underneath — a proper winter scent rather than a candy one.

Where it works

A living-room and holiday-table candle from late November on. The 16 oz throws enough scent for an open-plan room full of guests; the 4 oz is the stocking-filler and hostess gift. It's the natural pair to Harvest as fall turns to winter.
