Chevron and ikat, together

The chevron is one of the oldest rhythms in weaving, because it is what the loom does naturally when you alternate direction. Rendered in ikat, where the yarn is dyed before it is woven, the crisp zigzag softens at every colour change. That feathered edge is the reliable tell of hand ikat: no printed fabric produces it, and no two lengths of cloth produce it identically.

Handwoven, never printed

Each bag is cut from a different part of the bolt, so the chevrons meet the seam in their own place. Yours will not repeat on anyone else's.
