Suzani Lumbar Pillow Cover | Black Multicolor 16x24

A black suzani lumbar pillow cover in multicolor

The same banded rows of small motifs as the cream Rainbow, but worked on a black ground — red, blue, gold and white lifting off the dark, hand-embroidered in a 16" × 24" lumbar. The colour reads far bolder against black.

Why the black ground changes everything

Embroidering bright thread on black is the hardest version to keep clean, and the most striking when it works: every colour gains contrast, and white in particular seems to glow. A dramatic sibling to the cream colourway.

Styling it

Black grounds are surprisingly versatile — they ground a busy room and add depth to a minimal one. This lumbar suits a modern, darker interior where the cream version would disappear.
