Suzani Carnation Lumbar Pillow Cover | Red 16x24

A red carnation suzani pillow cover on ivory

Vivid red carnation fans with turquoise and black centres, hand-embroidered in a bold repeat across an ivory ground, in a 16" × 24" lumbar. The most high-contrast of the ivory covers.

The fanned carnation

Each flower opens like a fan, worked outward in rows of stitch so the red builds in intensity toward the edge. The turquoise centre is the classic suzani trick — one cool note to stop a warm colour running hot.

Styling it

Red on ivory is festive without being twee. It carries a neutral sofa on its own, or pairs with the blue and purple carnation covers as a set — same motif, three colourways.
