Suzani Tulip Pillow Cover | Gray 20x20

A gray suzani pillow cover with slate-blue tulips

Slate-blue tulips and small florals, hand-embroidered on a soft silver-gray ground. This is the quietest cover in the collection — the one for a room that wants the craft without the colour.

The tulip motif

The tulip is Türkiye’s own flower before it was ever Holland’s — the emblem of the Ottoman court. Here it is stitched in an upright, orderly repeat rather than a loose scatter, which is what gives this cover its composed, almost formal feel.

Styling it

Gray on gray is the easiest thing in the world to place. It works on a pale sofa, a linen bed or a mid-grey armchair, and the blue picks up denim and navy without matching them exactly.
