House of Motifs Named a Best of McKinney 2026 Finalist

We have news we are proud to share: House of Motifs has been named a Best of McKinney 2026 finalist in the Best Specialty Retail Store category.

The Best of McKinney Awards are run by the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, and this year the community cast more than 25,000 votes. The finalists in each category are the top three vote-getters — so to be one of the three names in ours means a great deal to us as a small, independent boutique in Historic Downtown McKinney.

This recognition really belongs to our community. To everyone who has walked through our doors on West Virginia Street, picked out a nazar (evil eye) for a friend's new home, sent someone our way, or cheered us on since we opened — thank you. A finalist spot is a vote of confidence from the city we chose to build in, and we do not take it lightly.

If you are just discovering us: House of Motifs is a Turkish and Anatolian-inspired home décor and gift boutique in Downtown McKinney. We carry handmade pieces rooted in centuries of craft tradition — silk velvet pillow covers, Turkish towels, hand-painted ceramics, evil eye art, and more, much of it made by local women artists in Türkiye. What Happens Next

Winners will be announced on October 20 at the Best of McKinney Awards Luncheon. Finalist or winner, we are grateful simply to be in the conversation alongside so many businesses that make this city special.
